At the moment I can't stop working on my GCSE art sketchbook. For some reason,I'm feeling really motivated about it (or maybe because I don't want any work in the holidays?),and every night I just keep adding to it.To narrow it down to you,our project is "junk".When I first started year 10,I thought that meant that I'd be making a generic giant piece of junk food, but I guess that's all changed, because I haven't done anything on junk food.My main focuses in my sketchbook are music, films and nostalgia, which is all building up to my final piece. On our first lesson (way back in June or something),we had to do a spider diagram on what we,or other people may consider as junk. Here are my favourite pages/parts of pages/unfinished stuff/blah:
Sex Pistols page / The Jam image transfers (which I admittedly had on my jacket for a while) / nostalgia moodboards / Fleetwood Mac lyrics / prints of Sam's glasses (Moonrise Kingdom) / the beginning of a Sam/Suzy watercolour
I've just started my art history on Wes Anderson, hence the Moonrise Kingdoms pieces-I literally can't wait to start on more Wes Anderson pieces;this is what my life has come to guys.

That's so cool you get to do Wes Anderson for a school project
ReplyDeleteThese seem like awesome projects!! (I'm jealous. Especially for the Wes one).
